What to Expect 

Schedule your free consultation under the booking tab. ALL first time clients are REQUIRED  to have a pet sitting consultation at LEAST two weeks prior to expected  pet sitting, UNLESS emergent or last minute ooking at least 24 hours notice and home meet and greet required.  

During this free consultation...

•  I will be able to meet you and your fur-babies

• See their routine and how you perform their daily tasks 

• Get familiar with the environment and where I will be staying 

• talk about concerns, questions and expectations 

• Finalize dates/times and price estimates

• Go over and sign client forms and waivers

We only need to do a pet sitting consultation if it is the first time we pet sit for you. Once this is completed we can pet sit for you in the future without a consultation. If anything has changed since the last consultation, then we can schedule another free consultation to go over new routines/new pets in the home. Otherwise, the consultation is only needed once 

We typically do NOT require a deposit for standard pet sitting, see the "holidays and special dates" section under fees/services for more information on deposits. If booked longer then 10 days or scheduled more then 1 month in advance I require a nonrefundable 50% deposit. Deposits go towards the total amount of your bill. 

We will send you two estimates after your initial consultation (first time) OR after you contact me for booking, through the link you can accept whichever estimate you would like to choose. Accepting your estimate locks in your date and the rate, if not accepted your dates may be booked or rate could change. Accepting the estimate confirms your booking. 

Payment can be received in Cash, Venmo or Zelle. Cash preferred.

Payments are usually received on day one of pet sitting but I will accept payment when services are completed as well. Any payment not received 24 hours after completion of services will be subject to late payment fees in the amount of $25 per 24 hours late. 

There are a couple of forms that we will go over in the consultation that are REQUIRED before I can pet sit for you. 

1. Client information 

• I will have you fill out information such as your name, phone number, emergency contact information, pet name(s)/ages.

2. Consent form + waiver 

• This form grants permission to stay in your home for pet sitting during agreed upon times and dates. This form also goes over the following:  

1.        Reasonable precautions will be used against injury, escape, and/or death of the pet(s). Enedina Rothmeyer or pet sitters working under Ene's Pet sitting will not be held liable for any health problems and/or injury that may occur or develop during pet sitting with Enedina Rothmeyer. I understand that it is my full financial responsibility for any medical treatment needed for my pet(s).

2.        If the owner does not return home within seven days from the scheduled date and Enedina Rothmeyer  or pet sitters working under Ene's Pet sitting has made at least 3 attempts to contact the owner, abandonment procedures will be initiated if no contact is made. This may result in the pet(s) being removed by Animal Control at the owner’s expense.

3.       I acknowledge that Enedina Rothmeyer or pet sitters working under Ene's Pet sitting is not at your house 24 hours a day, and she will only be present at the agreed upon times. The animals are left unsupervised during those times, Enedina Rothmeyer is NOT responsible for damages, injury and/or escape  of animals when unsupervised.

4.        I have read and understand the above information contained in this document and willingly sign this pet sitting agreement and agree to pay all charges agreed upon during the pet sitting consultation.

5. I understand that if my pet is medically complex or geriatric that Enedina Rothmeyer or pet sitters working under Ene's Pet sitting is NOT responsible for the death of my animal(s) should they die during pet sitting.

6.     I grant Enedina Rothmeyer or pet sitters working under Ene's Pet sitting, the right to take photographs of my pet, and to copyright, use and publish the same in print, social media, and/or electronically. 

3. Unexpected emergency or illness Policy

• this form goes over unexpected emergencies or illness, and is written as follows: 

In the event of illness or unexpected emergency,  Enedina Rothmeyer or pet sitters working under Ene's Pet sitting will immediately attempt to contact you and your emergency contact to discuss treatment options. If she is unable to get into contact with you and your emergency contact, she will take the pet to Animal Emergency and Specialty center or Blue pearl emergency clinic for medical care, which she must be reimbursed for in full. 

4.  Medicated stay while pet sitting

• This form is only required if your pet needs prescription medication(s) while pet sitting, This form goes over medications that your pets needs, I will write down the dosages and frequency and have you sign indicating that it is correct. A pill count will be done on day one of my pet sitting stay to ensure that the correct amount of medication is provided for the duration of the stay. Part of the form is as follows: 

  • I confirm that the above listed information is accurate. Enedina Rothmeyer or pet sitters working under Ene's Pet sitting will give the medication as listed and cannot be held responsible if the information provided is not correct.

5. VCA WAIVER 

• the VCA waiver is ONLY for A Plus Animal Hospital clients that are offered my services while I am at work, I am not contracted through VCA and they are NOT affiliated with my business. This form is just to waive VCA from any potential liability, once signed this will go onto your account at A Plus Animal Hospital. 

These forms are usually condensed in one document*, once these forms are signed then they stay in your client folder, a copy will be either texted or emailed over to you. 

*the only separate form is the medication form and the VCA form 

(Probably the most self explanatory :)) We will come over to your house and watch your pets, and perform any services that you requested in the consultation. We will come over at the times you requested within reason, and send pup-dates often. Your fur-babies will be in good hands with us, we cuddle with them, play with them and spend quality time with them so they don't feel stressed by your absence. If anything happens during their stay that you should know about we will let you know right away, we like to stay in communication with pet parents to ensure quality care and prevent miscommunication. 

we love and treat your fur-babies the way we would my own, and commit my time and best effort into taking good care of them while you're away. You can rest assured knowing that your pets will be handled with the upmost care and love by me. 

We will make sure that not only your pets are taken care of but your house as well, we can water plants, make sure all packages are brought inside and check the mail if needed. We are very clean and will leave your house as spotless as you left it, like I was never there.
